thankyu dear igor for this offer your courses are just of great pleasure to watch on udemy.dear sir i am unable to understand the article prepared by your friend interpretation of chess moves.

      • http://chess-teacher.com Igor Smirnov

        Hi Ayush,

It’s great to know you enjoyed studying RCA courses in Udemy. I would appreciate if you rate the courses in Udemy, and of course you’ll get the 15usd bonus described above.

As for the article “Interpretation of chess moves”, it’s a bit complex indeed. Mostly we develop very practical lessons, which are easy to apply in practice.

However, sometimes we prepare more general advice that encourages your independent thinking. Don’t worry if you can’t fully understand it. It’s still useful.

        • ayush

thankyu igor for the discount you had given to mei.and for the advice too.dear sir please suggest mei how to improve daily i had already studiy your courses and a lot of others gm too.i am unable to understand i am going to do next to improve??

          • http://chess-teacher.com Igor Smirnov

It’s good to know you’ve studied all my courses and even some other turorials. What is your current rating?

            • ayush

dear igor due to lack of trianing and concepts i hadnot played any rating tournaments yet.i had some of them in past and even though i beat 2000 rated player without your training.my i had beaten 2500 rating in computer.what i should do next??plese help?do you know any friends of your’s in icc??in coaching??that can give mei training in less cost??

            • http://chess-teacher.com Igor Smirnov

Finding a good coach is tough. I struggled with this myself some years back, when I was an aspiring chess player. Maybe that’s the reason why I dwelt upon this topic, and untimately, became a chess coach :)

The courses I created were designed for your independent training. Many students, who were 1200-1300 rated, reached 2000 rating just after a SERIOUS study of a few RCA courses. A serious study of 1 course usually takes around 1 month.

Of course this kind of progress never happens to those who study RCA courses quickly and superficially: just watched the video lessons once, and skipped the major part of the practical tasks.

To conclude, I would recommend that you study once again (slowly and diligently) the course “Self-taught Grandmaster” – it contains all the answers to your questions on how you should study chess. Good luck!

            • ayush

thankyu igor for this great reply.i will study it once again.thakyu

            • ayush

dear igor are you giving online private training is icc??these days?

            • http://chess-teacher.com Igor Smirnov

Sorry, I don’t. In any case my private coaching is too costly and I would not recommend that you take it :) Instead, you may study my courses DILIGENTLY and you’ll get great results for a much smaller price.

            • ayush

okk sir thankyu so much you are very honest gm of chess. i respect your advice.what are you going to produce next?

please help mei in suggesting a good private coach ??thankyu

            • bibleexpert

Igor Smirnov is a damn good private coach! You should consider purchasing one of his courses.

    • Arun Prasath

      Dear Igor,
Should I Trade my One Rook for Two Knights and 1 pawn of the opposite player?

      • Arun Prasath

It is the almost beginning of game. We both have lost one pawn each.

      • http://chess-teacher.com Igor Smirnov

        Hi Arun,

There are slightly different methods to compare pieces’ value. To keep things simple, you may consider the rook to be approximately equal to 5 pawns, while a minor piece – 3 pawns.

        Hence, in your example:
        A) 1 rook = 5 pawns
        B) 2 knights + 1 pawn = 7pawns {i.e. 3 pawns+3 pawns+1pawn}
Therefore, trading a rook for 2N+P is very advantageous for you, it’s like you are 2 pawns up.

Good luck in your chess battles!

        • Arun Prasath

          Thanks for your reply :)

    • ziv

P.S. If it matters, I bought the course on the I-Pad mini.

    • Sandeep R B

Hi Igor, I just received my first payment as an Affiliate from your courses. Thanks. And I wanted to know one more thing – Why is Remote Chess Academy using a website (domain name) like chess-teacher.com and NOT something similar to remote chess academy itself?

      • http://chess-teacher.com Igor Smirnov

Firstly, congratulations with your successful beginning in RCA’s affiliate program!

As for the domain name, frankly, I never thought about it that much. But your idea makes perfect sense indeed :)

        • Sandeep R B

In that case Igor, I have booked This Domain Name for us – http://RemoteChess.Academy and I am already using it for my Affiliate promotions. Hope to get some sales from there OR hope to get this domain name into your accounts – Sounds Gambit? – That’s my Gambit!

          • MynameIsNemo

An empty website is an empty website. Worth no money at all.

            • Sandeep R B

It is not empty. http://remotechess.academy is up and running with visitors. Check out for yourself. Anyways, this is between me (an admirer of IGOR and his courses and also an Affiliate) and Igor. Who are you to enter here between me and Igor? Are you a moderator here? I guess not. U are just another jerk promoting some kind of web hosting services. and therefore are using the standard lines like AN EMPTY WEBSITE….
I have seen your other ‘useful for nothing’ posts on Discus. Good Luck.

            • MynameIsNemo

It’s only a page saying “Please buy this site”. Good luck, I hope you will sell it soon.

            • Sandeep R B

Thanks for saying Good Luck. You are now talking something of sense. It is only one page and THAT one page is enough for dudes like you to visit and comment on. :)

            • MynameIsNemo

Everyone has his own business: you are acting like a fan of a chess grandmaster and I’m acting like a troll… domain selling is hard so I will not argue about being a fan or not. Good luck and keep trying!

          • http://chess-teacher.com Igor Smirnov

Thanks for your suggestion, Sandeep! If I ever decide to use another domain name, I’ll get in touch with you.

            • Sandeep R B

              Sure Igor, anytime.
