Today, I would like to share with you the most amazing queen sacrifice by Mikhail Tal. He played this game against Alexey Suetin in the Goglidze Memorial in 1969. It is a classical game, and probably one of the most famous sacrifices made by ‘The Magician from Riga’, Mikhail Tal. After the opening stage, the following position arrived:
White to play
It is White to play and it’s move 16. After just 5 moves, Tal made Suetin resign the game. Indeed, I have mentioned that it’s a queen sacrifice, but how would you proceed from the above position? Can you find this genius attack?
