Today I’d like to give you a quick chess opening crash course on one of the most popular chess openings, the Italian Game (for Black), which happens after the following moves: 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4.

You will learn the Giuoco Piano variation after Black plays 3…Bc5, and the most common responses of White after that. You will also learn some of the key ideas, common attacking plans, and traps.
