Release of “Converting Your Advantage into a Full Point”

Today is doubly special here in RCA – first and foremost, I wish you a very Happy and Prosperous New Year on behalf of the RCA Team! 🙂 The start of every year takes you a step closer to the attainment of your dreams. Hope this year will be the breakthrough one and your dreams finally turn into reality.
happy new year 2018It’s not just the New Year Day, but it’s also the New Course Day in RCA – yes, our new course “Converting Your Advantage into a Full Point” is released today! 🙂

Why this course?

Converting advantage is a vital skill for any chess player. It can’t be accomplished effectively unless training hard, however, it’s worth the effort to train the ability. In this course, IM Valeri Lilov will reveal his secrets to converting an advantage into a full point. You will be able to apply these skills into practice right after the study of the course.

The unanswered questions answered!

IM Lilov will also answer the following questions in this course:
Converting Your Advantage into a Full Point -> How to create threats against your opponents?
-> How to restrict and limit your opponent’s counterplay?
-> How to quickly turn the game into an Endgame?
-> How to handle the game when you have a material Advantage?
-> and more..

Hello sir, even after learning your middlegame course I have some problems in using majority attack in my games.suppose sir,as white I have pawn majority on queen side A2,b2,C3 and black pawns a7,b7 and d5 I have clear plan to use pawn majority in middlegame But you have taught first of all we have to move pawn with no counterpart so here i have to push c pawn but it is blocked by opponent D5 pawn what to do in such situations,When my pawn with no counterpart is blocked my opponent pawn ?

      Hi Anup,
      Thanks for the question.
d-pawn is considered to be queen side pawn. So in the position that you are talking about. Technically, we do not have a majority on the queenside. So if the opponent pawn was on e-file. You can move the c-pawn since it has not counterpart.

Your link does not include the New Courses For the Sequence I want like winning the middlegame , converting advantage course, crushing the king , defending course.I would like to know one more think as you stated in endgame expert course we have to use only 2 plans. So can tell you when we can conclude the Endgame stage has started but looking at the position in any situations how to find it is Middlegame stage or Endgame stage ?

    • RCA_moderator

      1) Thanks for the suggestion. We will consider creating a sequence for studying for the new courses as well.

      2) There is no one way of defining when the endgame starts. Different chess players define it in different ways.

One simplistic way to define is when the queens are traded or when you can activate your king safely.
