Today I’m happy to share with you a universal and tricky chess opening that is also very easy to learn – the Trompowsky Attack. Moreover, White can achieve a quick victory in as few as 7 moves in one of the main lines.

The Trompowsky Attack chess opening begins with the following moves: 1.d4 Nf6 2.Bg5.

With this setup, White aims to exchange their bishop for the Black knight, leading to a doubled pawn structure.
