First of all, let’s answer the previous chess task that I have given you:
Were you able to find a solution without any outside help? 🙂 In any case you can now check if you nail down the right answer by downloading this PGN file: LINK
As of the moment, my team and I are developing a new course that focuses on calculation/tactics/visualization. I’m sure you have A LOT of questions regarding that facet of chess. And here’s the juicy news: you may send them to my e-mail: [email protected]
In return, I’ll answer the most common and most pressing questions in the new chess improvement course.
A QUICK Note:
When writing down your chess questions, please, be brief and clear.
Again, please send your questions associated with these topics ONLY (calculation, visualization, and tactics). These 3 aspects are interrelated, and I want your question to focus on them.
Now for sure, a lot of you guys will send me the question: “When will the NEW course be ready?” 🙂 Let me tell you right off the bat – NOT too soon. I want to make sure that I deliver the BEST quality possible, and that takes time… A LOT of time if I may add.
Some of my students ask me: “Why aren’t you replying to my e-mails personally?”
Let’s do a little bit of math.
I have well over 15,000 subscribers and students. Now let’s say 1% sends me a question – that translates to 150 messages in a day! If I spend 10 minutes for reading and replying to every single message, that’s take 25 hours a day! 🙂
And if I do that, I’ll have NO time to make new free chess lessons, courses etc. I’m sure that’s a situation we don’t want to be in!
Along with that, most chess players have similar problems as well as similar questions. That’s why instead of answering each question separately, I make complete courses about most common and MOST important questions.
And to end this post, here’s another task I have for you:
It’s plain to see that Black has some crude BUT nasty threats – Qg1 and Qf1 mate. At the same time, it is White’s turn and he should solve this problem somehow. Just like before, your task is to find the BEST move for White and to calculate all the following variations.
Once you are done, please download a solution and check your answer yourself: LINK
Have a good day! 🙂
