Today we will take a look at a game played by the strongest female chess player, four time Women’s World Chess Champion and the second highest rated female player of all time, Hou Yifan.

The game was played when Hou Yifan was just 10-years old. This chess prodigy crushed the Berlin Defence from the Ruy Lopez opening (or Spanish Game) in just 11 moves. The Berlin Defence happens after the opening moves: 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 Nf6.
